I’m a highly creative person. I also have extensive technical skills and experience. I’m driven by a desire to make things that I want others to engage with.

I enjoy dreaming up new ideas and resolving existing problems. I'm good at analysing and identifying ways in which to make or improve things. I'm passionate about creating quality products, and for seeing a project through from concept to completion.

I’ve coordinated teams of developers and artists. I've liaised directly with clients and line-managed other colleagues. I’m equally at home illustrating and animating game characters as I am designing site layouts or producing object oriented code to create complex client-side game engines and interactive content.

I’ve experience with a range of Adobe products – I was a lead Flash developer for many years for DESQ Digital Learning (I have a game on the Apple App Store built in Flash and deployed using AIR for iOS).
In recent years I’ve been working as a senior mobile designer and game developer at Gaming Realms utilising HTML5, CSS3 and JavaScript frameworks and libraries (JQuery, Require, Node, PIXI) to develop mobile friendly games and responsive websites. I'm proud to be responsible for the scope and development of some of the companies most successful games.

I graduated from Huddersfield University in 2003 with a first class honours degree in Virtual Reality and Multimedia Design. I now live in Newmillerdam - a village on the outskirts of Wakefield with my beautiful wife, Jenny along with our pet pooch Laika the lurcher. As a voluntary member of the NCCA communications team, I'm actively responsible for developing and maintaining our local community website.

Work has ranged from creating sites and viral marketing games for big blue chip brands like Hugo Boss, Proctor and Gamble, Heinz, Powergen and Durex, to creating educational games, simulations and e-learning materials for clients such as the BBC, Channel 4, Oxford University Press, Asda, Lush, Save The Children and BP.

In recent years I've worked on a range of products in the online gambling sector for Alchemy Bet and Gaming Realms. My work has primarily involved the scope and development of a series of successful games for the pocketfruity, spin-genie and slingo brands.
